All the Latest 2020 Buick Model Announcements!

The end of summer is a car lover’s dream. Why? Sure it means great driving weather in greater Atlanta (not to mention that much closer to football season), but the end of summer brings with it updates and information on the latest automotive releases. And at your local Buick Dealer in Atlanta that showroom is no different. It’s an exciting time here at Rick Hendrick Buick GMC in Duluth, GA and we can’t wait for all the latest models to roll in off the assembly line. If you’re as excited as we are here are the latest 2020 Buick model announcements to help satiate your appetite.
Buick Enclave
Interested in a luxury SUV with a bit more power than the smaller crossover options? If so, the 2020 Buick Enclave may be the perfect luxury for your personal needs. With several trim options, you can fully customize this vehicle inside and out. It comes standard with a front-wheel-drive drivetrain, automatic transmission, and a V6 3.6L engine that gives you 18 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway.
If you’re interested in upgrading to all-wheel drive to help handle those wet Georgia winters, the AWD 4DR Avenir trim model is perfect for that. With this trim package, you receive additional interior features, including adaptive cruise control, rear parking aid, a hands-free liftgate, plus several leather seating options (the chocolate leather on black with a ruby red paint job is a real head turner).
Buick Regal
The Buick Regal received a total redesign just in 2018, so the updates to the 2020 Regal are minor. You’ll find a slightly more aggressive nose that is designed to not only compete on American roads but in Europe as well (so you’ll find some sporty European features in the Regal).
The Regal will come in several trim modes, and each trim mode has some sub-trim options. If you’re a lover of the modern hatchback, the 2020 Buick Regal Sportback features a 2.0-liter Turbo I-4 engine, while the larger Regal GS will have a more powerful 3.6-liter V6 (and come with standard all-wheel-drive). There’s also a new 2020 Buick Regal TourX, which essentially combines the Sportback and GS into a larger touring wagon.
Enclave Avenir
For the 2020 model year, Buick has announced it will come out not only with the standard Enclave but with the Enclave Avenir, which takes luxury to a brand new level. When you want a seven-seat SUV and expect nothing but the very best in Buick luxury, GM doesn’t hold back with this beauty. The changes with the Enclave Avenir are immediately apparent. With the exclusive grille, Black Ice finish and chrome wings, you instantly know this full-size SUV is true luxury, and that’s exactly what Buick is going for with the 2020 model announcement.

You’ll instantly fall in love with the three rows of first-class seating. The leather-appointed seating blended with the lighter tone stitching screams elegance, while the wood-tone accents make it feel more like you’re in an executive suite than the middle row of a vehicle. And the upgrades don’t stop with the accents in the 2020 Enclave Avenir. It also comes with wireless smartphone charging, so if you have a mobile device capable of harnessing this power this will be a game-changer.
Buick Envision
Sometimes you just don’t need a larger SUV that seats 7, but you still want a vehicle that’s a bit larger than the standard sedan. When that’s the kind of vehicle of interest the 2020 Buick Envision checks off all the boxes. This five-seat compact SUV comes with three trim options, giving you the ability to select between either front-wheel drive or an all-wheel-drive drivetrain. All of the models do come with a fuel-efficient I4 2.5L engine that tops off offering 22 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway.
Buick LaCrosse
General Motors has decided to go a different direction in its vehicle lineup in the United States. As the market has shifted toward crossovers and SUVs, many of the sedans have stopped production. This is true for the Buick Lacrosse. Now, this doesn’t mean the Lacrosse will go away forever. In fact, it is a hot seller in China, and GM has announced a brand new update to the LaCrosse (which it showed off in China back in the spring). So, while the 2020 Buick Lacrosse will not make it stateside, the company does have plenty of updates to its other vehicles. And there’s always a chance the LaCrosse will return down the road. It’s common practice for automakers to shelve certain models for a few years until the market shifts.
Buick Cascada
The Buick Cascada received a revamped design recently, so the updates to this year will be minor. This includes a few additional color design options (both interior and exterior). However, much like the LaCrosse, the Cascada will not return to the States. It will remain in production (in Poland), but the 2020 model year will not make it stateside.
Buick Encore

The Buick Encore is brand new in 2020 with a seductive new re-design and improved performance across the board. The Encore was originally refined in Germany by GM’s “Opel” European brand before making its debut in the States back in 2013. Now, the all-new design is built specifically for American roads. The angled nose shows it means business, and yet the rear offers plenty of storage space. So whether you’re heading out to soccer practice or a weekend camping trip, you’ll have more than enough room (plus, you can always opt for the luggage roof rack for some extra storage options).
The base encore has revamped not only its exterior but also what’s under the hood, taking advantage of a fuel-efficient 1.4L 4-cylinder turbo engine. The 138 horsepower engine lets you net an impressive 25 miler per gallon in the city and 30 MPG on the highway, which is always a benefit when driving an SUV. And if you’re interested in different drive types, all-wheel drive is now an upgrade option on the 2020 Buick Encore.
Infotainment Upgrades
Beyond the model upgrades, the 2020 Buick model announcements also bring with it several universal infotainment upgrades, which you can find in any of the brand new 2020 models at Rick Hendrick Buick GMC. All of these models will feature Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which makes it easier than ever before for you to pair your mobile device of choice. Google Assistant will integrate into the 2020 Buick models, and if you are an iPhone user, Siri EyesFree is built right into the infotainment system, making for a safer, drive-free mobile experience.
You also can take advantage of the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities in all of the 2020 Buick models. So if you’re always on the go and need access to fast Internet, this is one feature to take advantage of. And as we all know, that drive from Atlanta to Augusta or Athens can be spotty at best with cell phone coverage, so having built-in Internet can be a lifesaver.
