The upgraded Bose Performance Series sound system plays through 18 speakers scattered throughout the cabin. The infotainment system is run through the 10.2-inch color touchscreen located in the center of the dash. You can also connect your phone via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Passengers also have access to their own Dual Rear-Seat Media System, which has two 12.6-inch screens on the back of the front seats that allow your second-row passengers to watch a movie or listen to their own music.
The panoramic sunroof may not technically be an infotainment feature, but it is entertaining. The dual pane rooftop allows your passengers to look for constellations at night and silly cloud formations during the day. This is enough room for each individual to have at least one bag in the cargo area of the Yukon. That means that you don’t have to try and share suitcases and no more arguing over who has to sit with the bag under their feet for the majority of the drive.
If you fold down the third row of seating, the Yukon can hold up to 72.6 cubic feet. You could probably fit a month's worth of groceries into that space without ever having to worry about your bread and eggs getting squished. If you intend to transform the entire back of the SUV into cargo space, the Yukon can hold up to 122.9 cubic feet of cargo. This is more space than most of us will ever need inside a car, but if you’re moving a college student to a dorm, this amount of cargo capacity will fit everything they need to start out their adult life.
It’s not all about what you can pack into the vehicle, though. One of the main reasons people buy SUVs is for the cargo capacity and the towing capability. The 2023 Denali Ultimate can tow up to 8,000 lbs if equipped with the 6.2L V8 engine. This is enough power to tow a medium-sized camper if you’re the camping type or even a large boat trailer if you prefer to go and enjoy the lake. The Denali Ultimate is great because it can tow almost as much as a midsize truck, fit a ton of cargo inside, and you'll be traveling in comfort and style.
Technology has changed a lot over even just the last ten years. What our vehicles can do now is so impressive, and GMC made sure to give the 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate the best driver assistance features currently available! One of our favorite features is the available Super Cruise technology that allows you to experience hands-free driving. With a database of over 200,000 miles worth of roads, Super Cruise will allow you to drive without ever touching the steering wheel. The system will engage in lane changing and can even handle hands-free driving with a trailer! We’re getting closer and closer to entirely self-driving cars being a reality for us, and GMC is keeping up with the changes in tech.
Another really great driver assistance technology feature for the Yukon Denali Ultimate is the rear camera mirror. This is similar to the backup camera popping up on the screen, but it allows drivers to get a view of what’s behind them without ever having to shift into reverse. This is perfect for those days when you need to use every inch of available cargo space and can't see clearly out the rear window.
GMC has also included built-in Google features. The Google suite of features includes Google Maps, which is perfect for navigation with real-time road updates for situations such as construction. The Google set also includes the Google Assistant for hands-free interaction with your vehicles interfaces, and it includes the Google Play Store so your back seat passengers can download some games onto their screens.
The ProGrade Trailering System is for everyone who is excited about the Denali Ultimate's 8,000-lb max towing capacity. This system includes an in-vehicle app that allows you to see trailering information with a quick tap on your screen. It also includes a trailer blind spot alert that lets you know when there is a vehicle in one of the blind spots created by your trailer. This system also has hitch guidance with hitch view, so you never have to get frustrated with your spotter again because your vehicle will make it so you don’t need one!
