  The fully-loaded 2022 GMC Acadia Denali features a premium, high-end cabin with a long list of luxury features, but this top-of-the-line Acadia also wows on the outside. Denali trims come standard with 20-inch aluminum wheels and LED headlights, fog lights, and taillights. Heated outside power mirrors are also standard and include integrated turn signal indicators and an auto-dimming feature that cuts down on glare.

  A hands-free power programmable liftgate makes juggling armloads of groceries effortless, especially at night, thanks to the emblem projection light that illuminates when the liftgate is activated. Buyers can choose the available Denali Ultimate Package and add a 360-degree HD Surround Vision Camera and Adaptive Ride Control (if equipped with all-wheel drive).   GMC Pro Safety Plus

  The GMC Acadia Denali comes equipped with multiple driver-assist safety systems. Called GMC Pro Safety Plus, these systems demonstrate GMC’s commitment to keeping drivers safe and aware of ever-changing road conditions. The robust suite includes eight different systems that rely on cameras, radar, and sensors to continuously monitor the area around your vehicle. When a potential hazard is detected, these systems kick in, alerting and even intervening on behalf of the driver to keep occupants safe.

  GMC Pro Safety Plus on the 2022 Acadia Denali includes the following systems:

  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert: Never hold your breath as you back out of a driveway or parking space again, thanks to this system that monitors the area on either side of your vehicle and alerts you if another car is approaching. When it’s clear, you can safely back out.
  • Front and Rear Park Assist: Park Assist works at slow speeds, keeping watch over obstructions that might lead to a “bumper kiss” as you back up. The closer you get to an object, the faster and more urgently the alert will sound. This system is extremely helpful in congested areas or when you’re trying to ease into a tight space.
  • IntelliBeam Automatic High Beams: Automatic high beams are designed primarily for driver convenience, but they also play an important role in safe night driving. As you travel at night, the system will automatically switch between low and high-beam settings to ensure you have the brightest possible setting when no oncoming traffic is detected. You also won’t have to remember to switch the high beams off, making you a more courteous driver.
  • Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert: These systems work to keep you safe when you switch lanes. If the turn signal is engaged and the system senses a vehicle entering your blind spot, it will send an audible alert. It will also illuminate a warning light embedded in your side mirrors for an extra visual warning.
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning: These systems work when you don’t have your turn signal activated. They sense when you’re drifting out of your intended lane, then alert you audibly to the drift. Lane Keep Assist will send cues directly to your steering wheel and nudge you back into the correct lane. These systems can sense the dividing lines in the road and keep you from unintentionally putting yourself in danger.
  • Following Distance Indicator: Accidental tailgating is easier to avoid when you engage the Following Distance Indicator. This system monitors the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead, alerting you if you are following too closely to react.
  • Front Pedestrian Braking: At lower speeds, the Front Pedestrian Braking system keeps an eye out for pedestrians in your path and automatically brakes when it senses the potential for contact. It’s an added measure of protection that’s especially helpful in busy urban environments.
  • Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking: Sometimes a crash is avoidable, and sometimes it’s not, but with these two systems, you’re best equipped to keep everyone safe. Forward Collision Alert will sound an alert when it senses you are in danger of a collision. If you don’t react in time, Automatic Emergency Braking takes over, applying maximum brake pressure to avoid or minimize the impact.
